Academics Ltd are proud to be working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in Canterbury, Kent, to recruit a passionate and dedicated Teacher of Performing Arts for a full-time position starting in September 2025.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a creative and supportive department in a school that values the arts as a key part of its curriculum and wider school life.



About the Role:

  • Full-time, permanent role starting in September 2025
  • Teaching Performing Arts across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 opportunities may be available)
  • Specialisms in Drama, Dance or Music welcomed - the ideal candidate will be confident delivering at least two strands of the Performing Arts curriculum
  • Involvement in extra-curricular activities, school productions and enrichment encouraged

  • A qualified teacher with QTS (or equivalent overseas qualification)
  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to teach engaging, inclusive lessons
  • A creative and inspiring approach to teaching and learning
  • A genuine passion for the Performing Arts and commitment to supporting student achievement and development
  • ECTs and experienced teachers are welcome to apply
