Teacher of Physical Education & Cover Supervisor

Teaching Contract approx. 0.4FTE, supplemented to Full Time through additional cover supervision. Fixed Term Contract until 31st August 2026. Full Time Equivalent Salary – MPS/UPS for the teaching element. Cover supervision element will be paid at Grade 6 (Points 15-20). Based at – Marling School.

We are seeking a PE teacher/Cover Supervisor to join our talented and supportive team at Marling School. We are a thriving Multi-Academy Trust committed to success within our communities. Hours: 8.25am - 3.25pm
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: MPS/UPS. ECTs are welcome to apply. The cover supervision role will be paid at Grade 6 Points 15-20 (£29,093 - £31,586 FTE).

We seek a dynamic, enthusiastic, and passionate Cover Supervisor, who will also teach some PE on a regular (0.4FTE), timetabled basis. The role involves working closely with teaching staff to provide the best educational experience for our students. Cover supervisors actively participate in school life.

The ideal candidate should:

1. Be flexible, a good listener and communicator, with positive attitudes towards young people and strong organizational skills.
2. Hold high expectations of themselves and others, capable of working independently and as part of a team.
