Job summary

Reepham High School and College in Norfolk is seeking an outstanding PE teacher to join a dedicated school community serving 11-18 learners. The successful candidate will teach a range of PE disciplines, including GCSE examination PE, and demonstrate energetic, well-organised practice with high expectations for pupil attainment and wellbeing.

Job description

Reepham High School and College is an 11-18 comprehensive school set in the picturesque Norfolk countryside, just 12 miles north of Norwich. The school has approximately 950 students, including around 200 in the sixth form, known as Reepham College. We serve a wide rural catchment area, as well as the town of Reepham itself.

Our students are kind, hardworking, and a pleasure to teach. Their prior attainment is in line with the national average, and they are highly motivated to succeed. Our sixth form provision is a particular strength, with A-level outcomes consistently placing us in the top 25% of post-16 providers nationally.

We place strong emphasis on consistent, whole-school routines, which help to create a calm and orderly environment where both students and staff can thrive. We are looking to appoint an outstanding, or potentially outstanding, PE teacher. This role could suit newly qualified and recently qualified teachers, as well as more experienced teachers.

We require an energetic, committed and well organised team player who has the ability to offer a range of sports. We expect the successful candidate to have excellent subject knowledge and to be happy teaching all aspects of PE, including examination PE at GCSE.
