Our Lady and All Saints Catholic Multi Academy Company (“the MAC”) was formed in April 2021 and currently comprises 12 Catholic Primary Schools and 2 Catholic Secondary Schools across Birmingham, Solihull, and Warwickshire.

The college boasts modern facilities including a theatre, music practice rooms, drama and dance studios, a sports block, 3G football pitches, extensive playing fields, a multi-use games area, a learning resource centre, science labs, Sixth Form area, conference facilities, media suites, and an innovative SEND centre. Significant investment has been made in technology, with teachers having access to Chromebooks to enhance teaching and learning.
Physical education is integral to our holistic approach to education. We aim to develop students’ physical literacy and foster a passion for lifelong learning and enjoyment of PE. Our curriculum at Key Stage 3 includes a variety of team and individual activities. We offer OCR Sport Studies at Key Stage 4 and BTEC Sport at Key Stage 5.
PE is more than athletic ability; it develops communication, leadership, and social skills, building confidence and a positive attitude towards the subject, peers, and future pursuits. Our facilities support a broad curriculum and extracurricular activities, including an all-weather 3G pitch, sportshall, gymnasium, grass areas, MUGA, table tennis tables, mountain bikes, trampolines, and more. The department also organizes external trips such as ski trips, football tours, and cultural visits.
The successful candidate will be an effective classroom practitioner with excellent interpersonal skills, capable of supporting a team and driving improvements within the PE department. They should be adaptable to teach across all ages and abilities. In return, they will join a vibrant team in a modern, stimulating environment.
The role involves contributing to the school community as a form tutor and helping to maintain the Catholic character of the school, fostering the development of students and staff.
