The role requires teaching physical education and coaching netball or lacrosse to students aged 11 to 18. St Swithun's is seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic sports professional to join us teaching PE and games to girls in years 7 to 13. This role is to cover for a colleague taking maternity leave and is therefore temporary, for up to a year, from September 2025.

We are looking for a qualified PE teacher with significant experience in teaching or coaching either netball or lacrosse. Alternatively, a sports graduate with high-level playing experience and coaching qualifications in either sport would be suitable.
Experience in summer sports such as athletics, cricket, or tennis, and experience teaching academic PE at GCSE or A Level, would be advantageous.
