Job description

We are seeking to appoint an ambitious, creative, and inspiring teacher or ECT with energy, enthusiasm, and a love of Music to join our team. We are looking for someone passionate about teaching music and confident to lead music throughout our school. This is a permanent, full-time position (part-time applications will be considered).

The Successful Candidate Will
  1. Have a passion for music
  2. Have a passion for working with students both in and outside the classroom, including a strong contribution to our extra-curricular and enrichment programmes
  3. Be able to plan and deliver high-quality teaching using an evidence-informed approach and facilitate our whole-school pedagogical strategies
  4. Have excellent communication skills and the ability to embrace and contribute to the vision of the Department and school
  5. Be able to build relationships quickly
  6. Show respect to others and embrace the ethos and values of the school
  7. Be positive, optimistic, caring, kind, and approachable
  8. Be willing to be immersed in the life of a busy and successful school
  9. Have the ability to support, challenge, and inspire our students, encouraging them to achieve their best through outstanding teaching and learning
