Job Purpose:

  1. To carry out the professional duties of a teacher as circumstances may require and in accordance with the academy's policies under the direction of the Principal.
  2. To demonstrate thorough curriculum knowledge, teach and assess effectively, take responsibility for professional development, and ensure students achieve well.
  3. To be a member of the Subject Curriculum Team and contribute to high standards of teaching and learning under the direction of the Head of Subject.
  4. To contribute to the vision and direction of Hartshill Academy, promoting innovative and inspirational learning for all.
