East Ayrshire Council seeks to hire a full-time position at Kilmarnock Academy. This role involves supporting learners and integrating educational goals while ensuring compliance with the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Act. A commitment to diversity and inclusion is emphasized.
Challenge, support, and inspire all learners to achieve the best possible outcomes through the development and delivery of an innovative and creative curriculum. Assist with the promotion, delivery, and integration of the key objectives outlined in the Education Plan and the Community Plan.
The duties of this post involve Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults, as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Successful applicants will be required to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member regarding Regulated Work with these groups, or if already a member, undergo a PVG Scheme Record Update, before any formal employment offer by East Ayrshire Council. PVG records are continually updated; any relevant information disclosed will be discussed with the applicant prior to employment.

This is a permanent full-time position based at Kilmarnock Academy, Kilmarnock. The salary ranges from £40,305 to £50,589 per annum.
