A local government authority in Kilmarnock seeks a part-time educational role focused on inspiring learners and integrating community objectives. The position involves regulated work with children, requiring PVG membership. Working hours are 14 per week on Mondays and Tuesdays, offering a salary range of £16,121 - £20,235 annually. Challenge, support, and inspire all learners to achieve the best possible outcomes through the development and delivery of an innovative and creative curriculum. This role aims to promote, deliver, and integrate the key objectives outlined in the Education Plan and the Community Plan.
The duties involve regulated work with children and/or protected adults, as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Successful applicants will be required to become a PVG Scheme member regarding regulated work with these groups, or if already a member, to undergo a PVG Scheme Record Update before any formal employment offer is made by East Ayrshire Council. PVG records are regularly updated, and any relevant information disclosed will be discussed with the applicant prior to employment.

This is a permanent part-time position based at Park School, Kilmarnock, working 14 hours per week on Mondays and Tuesdays, 8:45 am to 3:35 pm. The full-time salary range is £40,305 - £50,589 per annum; the part-time salary range is £16,121 - £20,235 per annum.
