Hours: 12.51 per week

Working pattern: Monday & Friday

At James Gillespie's High School, we work hard to create a nurturing environment in which all feel welcome and part of a larger family. We value high expectations, respect, inclusion, integrity, and kindness.

With almost 1800 pupils, we are one of the largest secondary schools in Edinburgh. Our Warrender Park Road campus includes a main teaching block (Malala Building), a state-of-the-art sports complex (Eric Liddell Sports Building), and an impressive music and drama suite including a studio and theatre (Muriel Spark Building), along with additional teaching spaces in our grade 1 listed building, Brunstfield House. We also have a newly refurbished annexe (Darroch) at Gillespie Street. Staff will regularly travel between the two sites.

We are looking to recruit a Teacher of Music. This is a permanent, part-time position working on Mondays and Fridays.

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic and have demonstrated contributions to department and whole school activities in previous posts.
