Requirements

You will be GTCS Registered (Secondary), have knowledge of relevant curriculum areas, and an awareness of main current issues in Scottish education.

Responsibilities

You will deliver quality education to assigned pupils and contribute, within the collegiate ethos, to the professional life of the school.

You will demonstrate application and knowledge of Curriculum for Excellence and have evidence of appropriate Professional Learning in various areas. Additionally, you will have a positive and caring approach, a commitment to young people, good communication/interpersonal skills, and the ability to relate well to others.

This post is considered Regulated Work with Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will need to join the PVG Scheme and undergo a PVG Scheme update check before a formal offer of employment is made by Dundee City Council.
