Job Title: Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages

Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages
Location: Scarborough, North Yorkshire
Start Date: September 2025
Salary: MPS/UPS; £31,650 - £49,084 per annum

GSL Education are currently seeking qualified and experienced Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher to join a Secondary school with the ability to teach French and Spanish in Scarborough, North Yorkshire.

MFL Teacher Requirements:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• A degree in Modern Foreign Languages or a related subject.
• Ability to teach both French and Spanish to GCSE level.
• Experience working with SEN students is highly desirable.
• Strong classroom management and excellent communication skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
• Have an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one.

MFL Teacher Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons in French and Spanish.
• Inspire and engage students in their language learning journey.
• Monitor progress and provide effective feedback.
• Create an inclusive classroom environment.
• Contribute to departmental planning, enrichment activities, and whole-school initiatives.
