Job description

Beacon Hill Academy is an inspirational academy that instills ambition and desire in learners, with values of dreaming big, rewarding effort, leading together, respecting each other, and learning that inspires running through all aspects of school life. Since 2019, GCSE results have shown improvements in both the attainment and progress of learners, with a marked rise in the proportion of learners achieving Grade 5 or higher in both English and Mathematics.

As a Trust, we are highly centralised, which means that all of our systems and processes are aligned. Everything we do is developed collaboratively involving many professionals and experts who work together across the Trust, all striving to provide the highest quality provision for our learners. Teaching and Learning is supported by a central team of Subject Directors who are experienced teachers with leadership and mentoring skills, working across our academies to support teachers in their personal development, data analysis, and curriculum planning. Subject Directors have specific areas of focus such as Mathematics, Science, Reading, Writing, and History.
