Grade/Salary: Main Pay Scale / Upper Pay Scale, commensurate with experience

Date Required: 1st September 2025

Details

We seek a committed and enthusiastic teacher of MFL to join our friendly and well-resourced MFL department. The department has a strong ethos of collaborative working across all key stages. This post is suitable for an Early Career Teacher (ECT).

Principal Responsibilities
  1. To plan, deliver, and teach MFL lessons and sequences of lessons tailored to meet the individual, personal, and academic developmental needs of students, fostering their independence as learners.
  2. To follow the Scheme of Work and assessment programme provided by the Key Stage Coordinators to ensure all students make progress.
  3. To be accountable for student progress by liaising with teaching and support staff to monitor and support individual children and groups.
  4. To participate in the development of appropriate syllabuses, materials, and schemes of work.
  5. To serve as Form Tutor for an assigned form and perform related duties in line with the general job description of a Form Tutor.
