Are you a passionate Maths teacher looking to take on more responsibility? A School in Barking is seeking a confident Teacher of Maths with KS5 Responsibility to join their team from September 2025.

This full-time, permanent role comes with TLR 2a, offering the opportunity to lead the delivery of A-Level and other Key Stage 5 Maths courses. You'll play a key role in curriculum planning, sixth form student support, and mentoring colleagues teaching post-16 Maths content.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor student progress and implement strategies to support achievement

Qualifications and Experience

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Strong experience teaching Maths at KS5
  • A solid understanding of A-Level Maths content and assessment requirements
  • Previous experience mentoring or supporting colleagues preferred
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
  • A commitment to inclusive and aspirational teaching
