Post: Teacher of Maths/Science (ACE provision)

Contract Type: Permanent

Salary Range: MPS1 – UPS3 (£31,650 - £49,084)



Working Type: Full Time



Base: Dyke House Academy, Mapleton Road, Hartlepool, TS24 8NQ





Please note: the post holder will be engaging in regulated activity, working mainly or wholly with children. This position is exempt from the rehabilitation of offender’s act 1974. It is an offence to apply for this role if you are barred from engaging in regulated activity relevant to children.

Dyke House Academy is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and innovative Teacher of Maths/Science in our ACE provision. The successful candidate will be an excellent classroom practitioner who is able to inspire and motivate our young people to fulfil their potential, demonstrating the drive and skill to raise standards of students' attainment and achievement.



Monitor and track student progress within their classes, setting high expectations which inspire, motivate and challenge students. Promote good progress and outcomes by students, demonstrating good subject and curriculum knowledge.



Manage behaviour effectively to ensure a good and safe learning environment and fulfil wider professional responsibilities
