Job summary

Academic Appointments Ltd is currently working with a Leeds partner Academy to recruit a dedicated Maths Teacher. This is a full-time placement starting in September 2026 and running until December 2026 in the first instance, with potential to be extended.

The successful candidate will teach Maths up to GCSE level, be responsible for their own exam classes, and join a supportive, well-established department within a Good rated school in West Leeds.

Qualifications

• Must hold QTS or a relevant teaching qualification.
• Honours degree in a relevant subject.
• Two references from educational establishments.
• Evidence of an exemplary track record as a Maths Teacher.
• A passion for success and quality teaching.
• Enhanced DBS certificate registered with the Update Service.

Responsibilities

• Teach Maths up to GCSE level and manage own exam classes.
• Contribute to pupil progress in a well-established department.
• Work in a supportive school environment with safeguarding compliance.

Rate of pay is dependent on current grade, experience, and payroll method.
