Multiple opportunities for skilled Maths Teachers are available at a well-regarded secondary school in Bromley, starting January 2025. Role and Responsibilities:
  1. Plan, develop, and deliver high-quality lessons using various approaches to continually enhance teaching and learning.
  2. Monitor student progress, keep records of assessment outcomes and targets, and ensure all students achieve their full potential in line with Academy policy.
  3. Contribute to safeguarding and promote the welfare and personal care of children and young people, following Every Child Matters and Area Child Protection Procedures.
  4. Ensure continuity, progression, and cohesiveness in all teaching activities.
  5. Set regular homework to consolidate and extend learning, encouraging students to take responsibility for their learning.
  6. Track student achievement, monitor progress against targets, and take appropriate actions based on outcomes.
  7. Act as a role model through personal presentation and professional conduct.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Maths or a related field.
  • Teaching certification or relevant teaching qualifications.
  • Proven experience teaching Maths at secondary or higher education levels.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
