Teacher of Maths - responsibilities:

• Plan, deliver, and assess engaging and effective Mathematics lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4 (with the possibility of teaching A Level for the right candidate)
• Support students' progress through differentiated teaching and the use of innovative teaching strategies
• Manage the classroom environment effectively, fostering a positive and focused learning atmosphere
• Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback and appropriate interventions
• Collaborate with colleagues in the Mathematics department to ensure a cohesive and progressive curriculum
• Contribute to the development of the school's Mathematics curriculum and teaching resources
• Take an active role in extracurricular activities, including Mathematics clubs or competitions, to further inspire students

Teacher of Maths - requirements:

• A strong academic background in Mathematics (a degree in Mathematics or a related field)
• UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• A passion for teaching and the ability to engage and motivate students in mathematics
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• The ability to differentiate lessons to cater to a wide range of learning abilities
• A commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive classroom environment
• A dedication to the professional development of themselves and others
