Salary:£100- £250 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date:September 2025
Contract Type:Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

A forward-thinking secondary school in Wickford is looking for a dedicated Teacher of Maths to join their team. ECTs (Early Career Teacher) are warmly encouraged to apply!

As a Maths Teacher, you will lead engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, igniting curiosity and helping students develop confidence in numeracy and logical reasoning.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality maths lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
• Use creative strategies to support a variety of learning styles and abilities.
• Assess student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback.
• Contribute to departmental planning and extracurricular maths initiatives.
• Uphold high expectations for behaviour and academic standards.

Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent overseas qualification.
• Experience teaching Maths at secondary level (KS3 & KS4).
• Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
• A commitment to inclusive and effective teaching practices.
• Possess an enhanced DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
