Salary: £33,594 - £50,589

We are seeking a full-time, permanent Teacher of Mathematics to join our busy Mathematics faculty.

Queensferry High School is a six-year comprehensive school located in the North West Locality of the City of Edinburgh Council. The catchment area includes Queensferry, Dalmeny, Echline, Kirkliston Primary Schools, and St Margaret's RC Primary School (by parent/carer request). Our new school building features excellent resources and views of the Forth Estuary, including the three bridges. The school roll is over 1,200 and rising.

Salaries are aligned with the Scheme of Salaries and Conditions of Service for Teaching Staff in School Education.

This position involves regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The successful candidate will need to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. If the candidate has spent three or more months outside the UK in the last five years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. Employment is contingent upon satisfactory completion of these checks.
