Job summary

Burnside College in England is seeking a passionate maths teacher to join our supportive team on a full-time permanent basis, starting 2nd November 2026 or 1st January 2027. The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons, motivate students and contribute to a high-quality, inclusive learning environment.

You will work under the Curriculum Leader for Maths, collaborate across the maths department, and have opportunities for professional development as part of our outstanding sixth form

Job description

For 2nd November 2026 or 1st January 2027, we are seeking to appoint a teacher who is passionate about maths and enthusiastic about encouraging this interest in young people. This is a full time permanent appointment.

The successful candidate will work within a supportive environment and provide effective and engaging learning opportunities that meet the needs of all students. Applicants will be highly motivated and have a passion to ensure that our learners achieve the very best that they can at all times. The core purpose of the role will be to uphold the fundamental standards of pride, respect and achievement with all learners but also ensure that all students receive the highest standard of bespoke support.
