About this Role

Are you passionate about Mathematics and committed to helping young people achieve their very best? If so, we would love to hear from you.

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Teacher of Mathematics to join our welcoming and supportive Maths Faculty. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a team that is dedicated to delivering high-quality teaching, fostering a love of learning, and ensuring every student feels supported, challenged and inspired to succeed.

Mathematics is one of the largest departments in the school, bringing together 12 teaching staff and a specialist Intervention Coach who work collaboratively to secure the very best outcomes for our students. We are proud of the positive relationships we build with our young people and the strong progress they make throughout their time with us.

As our department continues to grow and develop, we are looking for a colleague who shares our belief that every student can achieve their potential. Collaboration is at the heart of our success, with staff regularly sharing ideas, developing teaching strategies together and celebrating the achievements of both students and colleagues. We work hard to create an environment where everyone feels valued, supported and able to thrive.

We are equally committed to investing in our staff. Every classroom is equipped with a new interactive smart screen, and colleagues benefit from a comprehensive whole-school CPD programme alongside dedicated subject-specific professional development opportunities within Mathematics. Whether you are looking to further develop your classroom practice, take on additional responsibilities, or progress your career, you will be supported every step of the way.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a school where collaboration, inclusion and professional growth are at the heart of everything we do. We are seeking applications from fully qualified teachers holding Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) who are passionate about making a positive difference to the lives of young people and becoming an integral part of our school community. In return, you will join a welcoming and supportive environment where your contribution is valued, your development is encouraged, and your success is celebrated.

Our ideal candidate will:
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Be a passionate and effective classroom practitioner with high expectations for all students.
  • Be committed to delivering excellent teaching and learning that enables every student to succeed.
  • Have the ability to motivate, challenge and inspire students to achieve their full potential.
  • Build positive and supportive relationships with students, colleagues, parents and carers.
  • Share our belief that every young person can achieve and thrive with the right support and encouragement.
  • Be keen to contribute to the continued success and development of the Mathematics department.
  • Enjoy working collaboratively, sharing ideas and supporting colleagues as part of a strong and successful team.
  • Embrace our vision, values and commitment to providing the very best opportunities for all students.
  • Be enthusiastic about their own professional development and eager to play an active role in our school community.
Why join us?

You will be joining a school that values teamwork, celebrates success and is committed to helping both students and staff flourish. We believe that when colleagues feel supported, encouraged and inspired, they are able to make the greatest difference to the young people they serve.
