Job Title: Teacher of Humanities
Location: Swale, Kent
Salary: £120 - £250 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate

Your Mission

As a Teacher of Humanities, you will play a key role in delivering engaging and thought-provoking lessons that encourage students to explore the world around them, understand diverse perspectives, and develop critical thinking skills. You’ll work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

What You'll Be Doing

• Plan and deliver high-quality Humanities lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
• Inspire curiosity and a love for learning through creative and inclusive teaching methods.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of learners.
• Participate in departmental planning and school-wide initiatives.
• Foster a classroom culture of respect, inclusion, and academic excellence.

What You Bring to the Table

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Early Career Teacher (ECT), or equivalent overseas qualifications.
• Experience teaching Humanities subjects at the school level.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A passion for education and a commitment to student success.
• Ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents.
• Additional training or specialisms in Humanities subjects are a plus.
• Experienced Cover Supervisors and Teaching Assistants with relevant subject knowledge are also encouraged to apply.
