* Be a passionate and knowledgeable teacher of History able to deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 desirable but not essential)
* Bring history alive through creative and well-structured teaching that builds curiosity and critical thinking
* Have a strong understanding of the national curriculum and how to plan for progress across all abilities
* Use assessment and data effectively to inform planning and ensure all students make excellent progress
* Build positive relationships with pupils, promoting respect, responsibility, and a love of learning
* Be committed to inclusive teaching and ensuring all students can access and succeed in history
* Be open to feedback and professional development as part of a reflective and ambitious team
* Be a team player who contributes to the wider life and ethos of the school community
