Job description

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Teacher of History to join a dynamic and committed department from September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced or newly qualified classroom teacher to make a significant contribution to the school. The successful candidate will be expected to teach history at levels KS3-KS5.

The ideal candidate will:
  1. Be an outstanding teacher or have the potential to become outstanding.
  2. Be experienced in raising or have the desire to raise attainment in a challenging classroom environment.
  3. Have proven experience of working or the desire to work successfully with students of all abilities.
  4. Be committed to the school's ethos of high expectations and no excuses, believing that every child can succeed.
