Job description

Windsor Forest College Group is looking for a Teacher of Health and Social Care to join the Windsor campus on a fixed term contract until July 2025, working on a full-time basis.

Teacher of Health and Social Care

To teach BTEC Level 2 and 3 Health and Social Care with the ability to deliver BTEC Applied Psychology. You will also be responsible for:

  1. Regularly assessing student progress.
  2. Preparing progress reports.
  3. Providing accurate and timely data and information.
  4. Maintaining student morale and discipline both inside and outside the classroom.
  5. Keeping up to date with curriculum development and assessment requirements.
  6. Working effectively within a team to devise and maintain teaching strategies.
  7. Supporting extracurricular activities, outreach, and liaison work.
  8. Actively participating in the college's appraisal and performance management process.
  9. Staying updated in relevant areas of professional expertise.
  10. Developing and maintaining industry/commerce links.
  11. Attending relevant events and promoting the college's reputation.
  12. Collaborating on course development.
  13. Undertaking course coordination responsibilities and other duties as required.
