Job description

Job Title: Teacher of Health & Social Care
Location: Chatteris, Cambridgeshire
Salary: £31,650.00 - £49,084.00 Annually (FTE) MPS / UPS
Contract Type: Part-Time/Full-Time (permanent)

This role is due to begin in September 2025.

Our client is a successful and oversubscribed all-through school, recently expanded to accommodate pupils from ages 4 to 18. With a strong and supportive teaching team, they are committed to delivering high-quality education and ensuring students achieve excellent outcomes in Health & Social Care. Staff benefit from extensive CPD opportunities and the chance to work across different key stages.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Teach Health & Social Care across KS4 and KS5.
  2. Plan and deliver engaging lessons that inspire student achievement.
  3. Monitor progress, provide feedback, and contribute to curriculum development.
  4. Take advantage of high-quality CPD and career development opportunities.

Requirements:

  1. A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
  2. A degree in Health & Social Care or a related subject.
  3. Experience teaching Health & Social Care at secondary or post-16 level.
  4. Strong communication and organisational skills.
