Teacher of Girls' PE wanted in Newham! (Potential TLR), Greater London

Our supportive and progressive school in Newham is looking for a motivated Teacher of Girls' PE who is keen to develop their leadership skills within a thriving department and inspire female leadership through sport. This role offers the exciting prospect of a TLR for the right candidate, allowing you to contribute to the strategic direction of girls' PE and the school's wider sporting vision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and differentiated Girls' PE lessons across Key Stages 3-4 (and potentially KS5).
  • Encourage female students to become confident and independent participants and leaders in physical activity and sport.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to achieve departmental goals and contribute to the growth of girls' sport.
  • Contribute to the planning and assessment of the Girls' PE curriculum and extracurricular sports, with a focus on developing leadership skills.
  • TLR opportunities are available for candidates with the skills and ambition to lead in areas such as curriculum innovation in girls' PE, assessment strategies tailored to female athletes, or the development of female student leadership within sport.
