Our dynamic and inclusive school in Newham is looking for a motivated and innovative Teacher of Girls' PE to join our dedicated team. This role offers the chance to grow professionally and potentially take on a TLR, contributing to the leadership and development of girls' physical education and school sport.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Girls' PE lessons across Key Stages 3-4 (and potentially KS5).
- Foster a positive and engaging learning atmosphere that encourages participation and progress for all female students.
- Support students of all abilities to achieve their full potential in physical education and develop a positive relationship with physical activity.
- Contribute to the collaborative work of the PE department and the expansion of girls' sporting opportunities within the school.
- Opportunities for a TLR for candidates who show initiative and a desire to lead in specific areas of girls' PE or school sport, such as coaching teams or organizing events.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Degree in Physical Education or a related field.
- Experience teaching PE at secondary level, with a focus on engaging girls (ECTs encouraged to apply).
- A strong commitment to student progress, participation, and enjoyment in Girls' PE and sport.
- Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to be a positive role model for young women.
- An interest in taking on additional responsibilities and leadership within girls' PE and school sport (for TLR consideration).
