An enthusiastic and dedicated teacher is required to join a dynamic and forward-thinking academy in the heart of Brent, North West London. This is a permanent, full-time position commencing in September, teaching both Geography to Key Stage 3 and Religious Education to Key Stages 3 and 4. The successful candidate will inspire a curiosity about the world and a thoughtful engagement with diverse beliefs.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Geography lessons to students in Key Stage 3.
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Religious Education lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Foster stimulating learning environments that encourage geographical inquiry and respectful dialogue about beliefs.
  • Assess and monitor student progress in both Geography and Religious Education, providing effective feedback to support their learning.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated experience teaching Geography and Religious Education at the secondary level.
  • Strong subject knowledge in key geographical concepts relevant to KS3 and a range of religious beliefs and ethical frameworks relevant to KS3-4.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of motivating and engaging young learners in both subject areas.
