Are you a passionate and engaging Teacher of French with a desire to inspire students to embrace the beauty and diversity of the French language and culture? We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our successful MFL department in a high-achieving comprehensive school in Hillingdon. This is a full-time, permanent position commencing in April 2025.

About the MFL Department:

About the Role:

  • Teach French across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of teaching at Key Stage 5 depending on experience and interest.
  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that cater to a variety of learning styles and abilities.
  • Use a range of interactive and communicative teaching methods to develop students' French language skills.
  • Assess student progress, set targets, and provide constructive feedback to support individual learning journeys.
  • Contribute to the department's curriculum development and resource creation, ensuring that our French curriculum remains relevant and engaging.
  • Foster a love of French language and culture in students, encouraging them to explore the Francophone world and develop their intercultural understanding.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues in the department and across the school to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your teaching practice and keep abreast of the latest developments in MFL education.

  • Holds QTS or equivalent.
