We are seeking an enthusiastic and innovative Food and Textiles Teacher to join our thriving creative faculty. The successful candidate will inspire students across Key Stage 3 to develop essential life skills through engaging and meaningful learning experiences. They will guide students in acquiring culinary knowledge, including the ability to cook, design menus, and cultivate a curiosity about nutrition. The candidate will foster confidence in exploring food as both a scientific discipline and a creative art form. In addition, the candidate will be proficient in teaching textiles, encompassing both constructive and decorative techniques, and will support students in producing functional and aesthetically pleasing outcomes. Our Creative Faculty is a supportive and brilliant team which includes art, photography, design technology, 3D Design, textiles, performing arts and food technology and is supported by technicians to provide engaging lessons and extra-curricular activities.
