Location: Northampton and Surrounding Areas
Salary: MPS/UPS (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Start Date: September 2025 (or earlier by negotiation)

Are you a creative and enthusiastic Food Technology teacher with a passion for inspiring young minds? We are looking for a talented Teacher of Food Technology to join a thriving Design & Technology faculty within a forward-thinking secondary school in the Northampton area.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an innovative educator to make a real impact, nurturing students’ practical skills, nutritional awareness, and love of cooking in a well-equipped and supportive environment.

About the Role:

Deliver engaging and practical Food Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 an advantage).

Support students to develop confidence in culinary skills, healthy eating, and food science.

Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment opportunities, including clubs and community projects.

Work as part of a collaborative and dynamic DT team committed to excellence.

What We're Looking For:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

A relevant degree in Food Technology, Hospitality, Nutrition or a related subject.

Experience teaching Food Technology in a secondary school setting (ECTs are welcome to apply).

A genuine passion for food, creativity, and hands-on learning.

Excellent organisational and communication skills.
