Job Overview
About the Academy
Outwood Academy Riverside, founded in September 2020 through the Free Schools Programme, implements the Riverside values programme for all students at the start of every academic year.
The academy is dedicated to the wide variety of students who enrol, ensuring strong routines and top-notch pastoral care for all pupils.
Located at Russell Street, Middlesbrough, Outwood Academy Riverside is set to have a new school built on Pioneering Way close to Middlesbrough College. Additionally, a satellite site in Eston opened in September 2024 to our new Year 7s as the school continues to grow.
About The Role
We are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic and inspiring classroom practitioner with a real passion for the subject. We offer an exciting opportunity to enhance an already highly successful and motivated team.
The successful applicant will ideally have experience of teaching Food Technology across both Key Stages 3 and 4. We are looking for someone who can not only maintain high levels of progress and behaviour but also drive forward future improvements.
There is an Academic rigour which is expected from all members of staff. Students are not capped by their Key Stage and are developed further to achieve more. There is an expectation that staff fully challenge students and that they strive to be locally and nationally recognised in their roles.
If you genuinely love working with children, will go above and beyond for our young people and want to work as part of an inspirational and dynamic team, then we would love to hear from you.
