Job summary

The Arthur Terry School in Four Oaks is seeking a dedicated Teacher of Food Technology to join our Design & Technology team. This role is suitable for an outstanding teacher or an ECT looking to develop their career in a supportive school where creativity and practical skills are encouraged.

You will plan and deliver engaging lessons, assess student progress, and contribute to curriculum development while supporting enrichment and student wellbeing.

The Arthur Terry School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Teacher of Food Technology to join our successful and supportive Design & Technology team. About the role

As a Teacher of Food Technology, you will:

1. Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality Food Technology lessons across the relevant age and ability range.
2. Inspire students to develop their creativity, practical skills and understanding of food, nutrition and healthy lifestyles.
3. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students are encouraged to participate and succeed.
4. Assess and monitor student progress, providing effective feedback to support achievement.
5. Contribute to the development of the Food Technology curriculum and wider Design & Technology provision.
6. Support the wider life of the school through enrichment activities and a commitment to student wellbeing.
