Teacher of Female P.E

CER is currently working with a Secondary School in the Wirral area seeking a qualified and experienced Teacher of Female P.E. This is a full-time position starting September 2025.

The school is dedicated to providing a high-quality education that is both challenging and nurturing, covering ages 11 to 16.

The Teacher will support teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4, requiring good IT skills to document practical examination assessments, prepare lesson materials, and support teaching staff.

You must be able to teach and coach a range of sports and physical activities to pupils of different ages and abilities, manage class behavior, motivate, and encourage all pupils to participate.

Work with learning support assistants to help pupils with special educational needs and disabilities.

The successful applicant should value teamwork and aim to ensure the highest standards of achievement and attainment.

Requirements:

• UK qualified teaching status (QTS) or equivalent
• Proven experience teaching PE in a secondary school setting
• Strong subject knowledge and understanding of the national curriculum
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• A genuine passion for teaching and a commitment to student progress and well-being

Hours: Term time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm
