Salary: £27,238 - £45,109. Incremental progression throughout the band is available.

Contract Type: Permanent | Hours per Week: 1.0 FTE | Location: City Skills, Lissadel Street, Salford, M6 6AP

About the Role

The ESOL department at Salford City College is committed to inspiring and developing students who are speakers of other languages, to extend their knowledge, skills, and understanding of the English language and British culture. Our aim is to maximise students' potential by improving their communication, literacy, and life skills, enabling students to become confident and independent contributors to modern British society. An opportunity has arisen for a qualified, enthusiastic, and skilled ESOL Teacher to join our busy team. We welcome applicants with a proven track record of outstanding academic success and the ability to teach students up to Level 2 of mixed abilities across our 16-18 and adult courses. Candidates may also be asked to teach IT and Maths skills to students. We seek individuals with excellent subject knowledge, who can demonstrate a strong classroom presence and achieve excellent student outcomes. Candidates must possess a relevant subject degree and an appropriate postgraduate qualification.
