Job summary

A leading educational institution in Shrewsbury is looking for a full-time Teacher of English to inspire students. This role requires teaching English across Key Stages 3 and 4, working collaboratively with the Head of English, and effectively communicating with a diverse range of students. An ideal candidate will have Qualified Teacher Status and experience in classroom management, along with a passion for educating young people. MPS to UPS depending on experience (suitable for ECT)

Are you passionate about inspiring young people? We currently have an exciting opportunity and are looking to appoint an inspiring, resolute, and skilled professional for a full-time position. The ideal candidate will possess the necessary qualifications and expertise to teach English throughout KS3 and KS4, working closely with the Head of English to maintain high levels of progress and excellent behaviour. Effective communication with diverse age groups and skill levels is essential.

Responsibilities

The successful applicant will:

  • Teach English across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
  • Work collaboratively with the Head of English to maintain high levels of student progress and positive behaviour.
  • Communicate effectively with students of varying ages and abilities.
