Location: St Ninians High School, Bellfield Road, Kirkintilloch, G66 1DT

Salary: £40,305 - £50,589 per year

Contract Type: Temporary

Position Type: Part Time

Hours: 7 hours per week

This post is only available to all current permanent and temporary employees and agency workers on assignment within East Dunbartonshire Council.

Salary will be pro-rated for part-time and term-time hours, and for less than 35 hours per week.

Appointment to this post will be effective from August 2025. Probationer Teachers in the Teachers Induction Scheme, due to qualify in June 2025, are eligible to apply, subject to full GTCS registration at the start date in August.

We recommend submitting your application no later than 21:00 hours on the closing date.

When applying, you will be asked to provide the names of two referees; however, these are not required at the application stage.

You should print the role profile and Head Teacher's report, and give them to your Head Teacher for completion.

To ensure your application is accepted, the Head Teacher report must be signed by and emailed from the Head Teacher who completed it, including the (EAD) reference number of the post.

Failure to do so may result in your application being excluded from shortlisting.

PVG/Disclosure Scotland

This applies to all roles requiring PVG/Disclosure checks within East Dunbartonshire Council.

Successful candidates for regulated roles under the Disclosure (Scotland) Act 2020 will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme Update check before employment is confirmed.

Candidates will bear the cost of the check, deducted from the first salary payment, which can be paid in installments in certain circumstances, subject to approval. If employment ends before deduction, the full amount will be deducted from the final salary.
