Job description

Our Lady and St Chad Catholic Academy is a high performing school in North East Wolverhampton. We are looking for an ambitious, enthusiastic and successful English Teacher keen to develop their career to join our successful team.

Our Lady and St Chad Catholic Academy is Ofsted rated Good (2018) and is part of St Francis and St Claire Catholic Multi Academy Company, providing quality education for children aged 3 to 18.The Academy has recently completed significant building expansion to support the rising popularity of the school and is underpinned by values; Truth, Justice, Charity, Forgiveness, Respect and Peace.

The Department

The successful individual will join our English Department and teach alongside a dedicated, aspirational and forward-thinking team of teachers. English is taught in a suite of newly refurbished rooms, all with interactive whiteboards and access to laptops. English is a successful, vibrant subject which maintains good results at KS4 and KS5. A Level English Literature is a popular choice, and students' studies at all levels are enhanced by educational visits, which have recently included the RSC and Shakespeare's birthplace.
