TEACHER OF ENGLISH

We are looking for a knowledgeable and enthusiastic teacher of English to join our supportive and high-performing team on a permanent basis from Easter 2025. You will work in an excellent department that will value your ideas and creativity and with students who are positive and well-motivated. We welcome applications from both ECTs and experienced teachers.

Normal hours of work are 32.5 hours per week based around the usual business working week.

The Elton High School is a significantly oversubscribed school with a tradition of excellence. We have a history of high achievement with results regularly placing us amongst the highest performing schools in Bury LA and amongst the top proportion of schools in the country.
