Teacher of English September Start

Location: Salford

Start Date: September 2025

Hours: Full-Time (Monday to Friday)

Contract: Fixed Term 1 Year

Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)

About the Role:

You ll be joining a thriving English department known for its collaborative culture and strong academic outcomes. The successful candidate will teach across Key Stage 3 and 4, delivering dynamic and engaging lessons that spark curiosity and foster critical thinking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons across the KS3 and KS4 English curriculum
  • Use formative and summative assessments to track and support pupil progress
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Support extra-curricular activities, literacy development, and school-wide initiatives

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching English in UK secondary schools
