An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and suitably qualified Teacher of English / Media Studies, who is passionate about the subject and capable of inspiring, challenging, and engaging students. This role is suitable for both early career and experienced teachers with a strong degree in English, Media Studies, or a related subject.

The English and Media departments are highly regarded, with GCSE results consistently above the national average. Media Studies is taught at both GCSE and A-Level and has become an increasingly popular subject among students.

The school is known for its high academic standards, excellent student behaviour, and strong sense of community. It boasts a robust house system, where students lead their peers and uphold the school’s values of community, aspiration, respect, and endeavour (Ofsted, 2025).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
