About This Role

We are seeking a committed English teacher to join our dynamic faculty on a maternity cover basis. The ideal candidate should have a passion for English, be innovative in teaching, and ambitious for student success and professional growth.

This position is suitable for a reflective and conscientious educator to join a large, inclusive school that values professional development and excellence in teaching and learning.

The English faculty comprises 16 members with diverse experience levels, emphasizing teamwork and support. English, Film, and Media Studies are popular subjects, with excellent results, ranking in the top 25% nationally. Opportunities include sixth form teaching and leading or participating in trips and visits within the faculty.
