Teacher of English, Inveralmond Community High School, 35 hours per week, Fixed Term until 13th April 2026, Closing Date: 19th June 2025

This post has an expected start date of 11th August 2025 (subject to completion of all recruitment checks).

Inveralmond Community High School is seeking to appoint a highly motivated and dynamic individual who is committed to improvement and excellence.

The successful candidate will support the school's vision and implement strategies to achieve this vision. This is a key position at an exciting time for education and the school.

Inveralmond Community High School is a comprehensive, non-denominational school located in the Ladywell area of Livingston, serving a cluster of six primary schools.

The school roll is approximately 1000 students. The school provides a supportive environment with a strong focus on raising standards.

The school offers a broad curriculum from first year through sixth year. The successful candidate will have the necessary experience to support the principles of Curriculum for Excellence and contribute to the school's improvement agenda.

Successful candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme Update check before starting employment, at a cost of £59 for full membership or £18 for existing members.
