Inveralmond Community High School is seeking to appoint a highly motivated and dynamic individual who is committed to improvement and excellence.

The successful candidate will support the school's vision and implement strategies to achieve this vision. This is a key position at an exciting time for education and the school.

Inveralmond Community High School is a comprehensive, non-denominational school located in the Ladywell area of Livingston, serving a cluster of six primary schools.

Our school vision is: "We are working together to become inspired and fulfilled individuals who achieve, connect, and thrive, both now and in the future." Our core values are honesty, kindness, and respect.

Pupil learning is central, and we encourage all pupils to participate in the wider life of the school.

As a community school, we boast outstanding facilities, including a swimming pool, two floodlit all-weather pitches, dance and drama studios, ICT suites, and a multimedia library. These facilities are available to pupils during the day and after school.

We are committed to employing a diverse workforce that reflects the people of Scotland. We welcome applications from all backgrounds, especially from groups underrepresented, including people with disabilities, minority ethnic communities, or socio-economically disadvantaged backgrounds.

West Lothian Council is dedicated to transforming the delivery of Education Services, providing support and an environment conducive to professional development. Our commitment is demonstrated by achieving the Investors in People Standard and striving for continual improvement.

A relevant teaching qualification and registration with the General Teaching Council for Scotland are essential.
