Job summary

Barnsley Academy, part of United Learning, is seeking a dynamic English teacher for a temporary post from November 2026 to December 2026 (possible extension to Easter 2027). The role can be full-time (37.5 hours) or part-time, and involves teaching across KS3 and KS4 in a vibrant, supportive community.

Barnsley Academy is seeking to appoint a temporary Teacher of English to complement the existing department. We are seeking to appoint a dynamic, enthusiastic and influential Teacher to teach across Key Stages 3 and 4. The academy is part of United Learning, a national group of schools and academies.
