Rodillian Academy seeks to appoint an inspiring and ambitious teacher of English to join our strong and dedicated English department. The curriculum is innovative, well-planned and embedded, empowering teachers to adapt for their own classes. Students are enthused and engaged with the curriculum, leading to significantly higher than national outcomes at GCSE.

We have a reputation for high expectations for all, excellent staff/student relationships and a commitment to the personal and professional development of its staff. We want our staff to develop their pedagogy in a way that fits their own skills and expertise to benefit their students, but which is rooted in what we know impacts learning. We do not have a prescribed format for lessons but use a range of proven strategies to accelerate progress.Teachers make their own judgments about how to engage their students and how to deliver and embed content, while following the department curriculum.
