Secondary English Teacher Opportunities in Stoke-on-Trent & Staffordshire

Academics is actively seeking enthusiastic and experienced Secondary English Teachers for short-term, long-term, and supply assignments within our partner secondary schools and academies across Stoke-on-Trent & Staffordshire.

Whether you're interested in a new long-term contract or temporary supply roles, we tailor our job search to your preferences. Our opportunities offer flexibility in working days and are particularly suitable for English Early Career Teachers (ECTs), often leading to more permanent positions in our client schools.

Roles Requirements

• Hold UK Qualified Teaching Status (QTS or QTLS).
• Familiar with the UK National Curriculum and English programmes of study.
• Possess strong classroom management skills, excellent subject knowledge, and the ability to inspire positive learning attitudes.
• Adapt quickly to new school environments and work well within a team.
• Have a current Enhanced DBS registered with the Update Service or be willing to apply for a new one (cost applicable).

Please note that your daily rate will depend on experience, qualifications, the nature of the supply (short or long term), and current client rates.
